AMERICAN FORK--Dr. Culver R. Andersen, DDS, passed away on February 5, 1999, at the age of 93.
Born August 27, 1905, in Monroe, Utah, to Juel A. Andersen and Rosetta Gregersen Andersen. He graduated from South Sevier High School with honors, and entered St. Louis University Dental School at the age of 17."Doc" was the fifth child of 12 children. He married Lois Peters June 21, 1933, and they have been married 65 years.
"Doc" practiced dentistry for 47 years.
He was involved in civic life throughout his career. He was a life member of the American Dental Association. He belonged to Rotary, Lions, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Riverside Country Club.
He loved his family, his gardens, enjoyed art, and his dentistry. His generous spirit and boundless energy was felt by all who knew him. He was blessed throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife of American Fork; three daughters, Juel (John) Belmont, American Fork; Linda Metos, Holladay; Vicki (Gerald) Knudson, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister and two brothers, Georgia (Chester) Lloyd, Fremont, CA; Keith (Leona) Andersen, Bountiful, UT; and Bob (Donna) Andersen Nephi, UT.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 1999, at 12 noon in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, where friends may call from 10 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial in the American Fork City Cemetery.
