Mrs. Lillian M. Aplin 74, of 3273 Ocala St. NW, Massillon died Saturday evening (Dec 6, 1980) at Timken-Mercy Memorial Medical Center, Canton, following a short illness.
She was born Aug 23, 1906, at Chaseville, daughter of Penney and Margaret Catlett Shafer. She had been a resident of the Canton area the past 37 years and was a former nurses' aide at Aultman Hospital, Canton, retiring in 1971 after 16 years of service. She attended Central Baptist Church, Canton. Her husband, Paul, died in June 1958.
She leaves a son, Clifford P. of Canton; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Norma) Wisenbarger of Massillon, with whom she made her home; one sister, Mrs. Yula Chester of Lore City; seven grandchildren. A duaghter, Mrs. Donna Mae Kovalcik, died in June 1958.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Reed Funeral Home, Canton, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Meek Funeral Home, Senecaville. Services will be Wdnesday at 1 p.m. at Meek Funeral Home wth the Rev. Garyin Dykes officiating. Burial will be in Seneaville Cemetery.
