Born in Dębogórze (then called Eichenberg) and baptized in Oksywie (then called Oxhöft in West Prussia) on 10 March 1822. Her parents were Phillip Doering and Eva nee Groenholtz (Groenwald, Grunewald, etc.). She married Albrecht Ziemann (also Cymann, etc.) on 10 Nov 1844 in Oksywie. Constantia gave birth to at least nine children. Several of them migrated to the United States.
