Charles Roland Lee Holcombe left the bounds of time and space Wednesday, February 8 at Grandview Medical Center after an extended hospital stay for pneumonia. He was a retired steelworker who enjoyed spending his time with his family.
During his last days he chose to trust Jesus as his Saviour. The grief we have at his passing is eclipsed by the joy of knowing he is in heaven, and that we will see him again.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles William Holcombe, mother Ola Mae Higgins Holcombe and sister Jackie Watson.
He is survived by his sister, his children, his grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later time.
