Laura Barnes instituted action against Oscar Barnes in the Circuit Court today. She alleges failure to provide in her complaint and asks for alimony and custody of their two small children. Sulzer & Bear are attorneys for the plaintiff.

In the Circuit Court this morning, Laura Barnes was granted a divorce from Oscar Barnes and was given the custody of two minor children and alimony of $750. Sulzer & Bear were attorneys for the plaintiff.

DIES OF HEART AILMENT


A man tentatively identified as Oscar Barnes, 50 years old, 537 South Clark street, died yesterday of a heart ailment in a restaurant at 28 East Roosevelt road.

Private Oscar Barnes returned to Camp Taylor on the morning train after spending a few days in Madison. He was the first group of selected men to leave this county.
