Joe Barbieri Jr. was born on Dec. 23, 1927, in Park Ridge, Ill. to Joseph F. and Vera Barbieri, and passed away on Apr. 30, 2005, in Irving, Texas.
Mr. Barbieri worked for Exxon for 43 years.
Preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lear.
Survived by his beloved wife, Elena; son, Michael Barbieri; daughter, Patty Barbieri; grandson, Ptolemy Long; brothers, James Barbieri and his wife, Barbara, and John Barbieri and his wife, Maryann; his beloved dog, Sassy; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Joe's life will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at the residence. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Fund at Baylor Hospital, Dallas, Texas.
