On February 3, 2024 Shirley Fox Cox passed away peacefully. She was born on July 25, 1934 in Stevenson, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary (Cartendafner) Fox. She was the beloved mother of Sherrie Heckel Wieczorkowski, Russell A. Cox, Jr. and Bradley R. Cox. Loving grandmother of Christie Hellwig, Trevor Heckel, Blake Cox, Brady Cox, Kevin Cox, and Adam Cox. Great-grandmother of Chase Hellwig and Cole Hellwig. Sister of Marvin B. Fox, the late C. Richard Fox, and the late F. James Fox.Shirley enjoyed a long career as a Sales Counselor at the Druid Ridge Cemetery, loved her time as a member of the Red Hat Club of Westminster, and she enjoyed volunteering. she gave her time to the Carroll Hospital Center, the Ladies Auxilary of the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company and she enjoyed working the #156 Coffee Wagon at the Pikesville Rehabilitation Center.A graveside service was held on February 7th at 12:00 noon at Druid Ridge Cemetery 7900 Park Heights Avenue Baltimore, MD 21208
