Melva Leona Herrmann (101) of Williams passed away on October 26, 2023.
Melva was born on March 12, 1922 to Colona and George Reister.

Melva had been a member of the Williams Community Church since she was baptized there as a baby. After highschool, she graduated from cosmetology school. In July 1942, Melva married Arnold Herrmann at that same church that she was baptized in. She enjoyed being
a seamstress, embroidering, knitting, crocheting, crafts, puzzles, going to the casino
and playing bingo.

Melva is survived by her children Arlene Van (Tuan) of Perris, CA, Michael Herrmann (JoAnne Anders) of Cedar Ridge, David Herrmann (Judith) of Orangevale; grandchildren Steve Bell, Christina LaVerne, Melanie Warren, Kayliegh Johnson, Jonathan Herrmann, Alicia Eyler, Garret Herrmann and Clifton Herrmann. Melva has 15 great grandchildren and great great granddaughter Diana LaVerne.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Arnold Herrmann; her parents Colona and George Reister; son Frederick Herrmann; sister Jeuyl Bell (Lyle) and grandson James Bell.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the McNary-Moore Chapel from 2pm-6pm. Memorial services will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10:00am at the McNary-Moore Chapel with graveside to follow at the Williams Cemetery.
