A graveside service for Lynda Louise Baker, 85, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. No visitation is planned.

Mrs. Baker passed away January 26, 2024 in Gainesville. She was born August 21, 1938 in Gainesville, to Albert Morris and Lillian Fern (Wisdom) Biffle.

Lynda married Thomas Baker on March 9, 1963 at the First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Gainesville High School and attended Cooke County Junior College. After working for National supply for 20 years, she worked over 30 years for Enderby Gas in the accounting department. She was also proud to be a founding member of the Nascoga Federal Credit Union.

Mrs. Baker was a child of God, a member of First United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She devoted her love to God. She was very fond of her trips bowling with her girls. She enjoyed spending time with her close friends.

After retirement, Lynda spent her days watching her favorite television programs and loved being in the company of her husband of 60 years.
