Linda Rose (Hall) Earley, a longtime resident of Comanche, peacefully passed away on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, 2024 in Meridian. She was 74 years old. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, with Bro. Dee Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan City Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Viewing will begin on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Linda was born Feb. 19, 1950 in Thelma, Texas to Homer D. and Evalee (Rackley) Hall. She and Jerry Earley were united in marriage on May 30, 1965 in Duncan. They had been married for 58 years.

Linda was an avid fisherman, and in her younger days was an accomplished bowler, once winning the city bowling championship. Other hobbies included bird watching and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, especially during her favorite holiday, Christmas. She loved her yearly vacations to the Illinois River for float trips, and also going to Six Flags. Linda and Jerry were members of Providence Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Jerry, of the home; two children: Jerry Earley and wife Laura, Ponca City, and Anissa Earley, Shelbyville, Tenn.; three siblings: Danny Hall and wife Sue, Tulsa, Virgie Hill, Comanche, and Mary Downey, Comanche; six grandchildren: London, Lauren, Nikki, Abigail, Tisha, and Josh; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
