Mary Kathryn Nesbitt Sherer, 91, of Marion, KY passed away January 31, 2024 at Crittenden Community Hospital.
Mary was retired from Potter and Brumfield Manufacturing and was a longtime member of Deer Creek Baptist Church. She loved her family, her church family and friends. She also loved working in her yard and attending to her flowers.
Survivors include her sons, Dwight (Mayree) Sherer and Jim Sherer both of Marion, KY; sisters, Naomi Jamison of Marion, KY and several nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Doyle Sherer; parents, Clarence and Verona Nesbitt and brothers, Buddy and Glen.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday February 3, 2024 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 11 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
