Mary Elizabeth (Ford) Baudoin, 88, of Texas City, passed away January 23, 2024 at her place of residence. She was born September 12, 1935 in Richland Springs, Texas.

Mary had a gentleness about her that was so sweet. She was kind and loving to anyone she met. She showed amazing strength and resilience these last few years and yet kept that funny sense of humor. She had the best smile.

When she was 17 and working at the A&W in Temple, Tx she met Theo Baudoin Jr., who was an Ex POW of the Korean War. They would marry shortly after that on November 13,1953 and had just recently celebrated 70 years of marriage until his passing on December 15, 2023. She was a loyal and devoted wife.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Theo Baudoin Jr; son, Jimmy Dean Baudoin; father, Dean David Ford; mother, Jimmy Myers; brother, Gerald Dean Ford; sisters, Wanda Joyce, Willie Mae and Billie June.

In addition to the outstanding caregivers from Right at Home Galveston and Hospice

The family would like to give a special thank you to Casey Gregg-Guyton, Rick Gearing and Rudy the dog for all the unconditional love and care they gave our Aunt and Uncle.

We are forever grateful.
