He was born Dec 5, 1940, in Corning, NY, to the late Clarence Brady and Hazel Diven Brady.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Laurie Brady; brothers, Donald, Malcom, and Glenn Brady, and sisters, Alice Polmanteer, and Grace Little.
Dick was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a member of the class of 1958 at Painted Post High School in Painted Post, NY. He was a passionate sports fan and loved the LA Dodgers. Dick enjoyed watching westerns on TV and playing trivia. He worked for Ingersol Rand for 45 years. He loved to organize class reunions and reminiscing about the "good old days".
Dick is survived by a son, Scott Brady (Heather), and grandchildren, Emma and Joshua Brady.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Thurs, Feb 1, from 6-8 pm at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. A service will be on Fri, Feb 2, at 2 pm, in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, with Father Mark Lawlor officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to your local animal shelter or plant a tree in Dick's memory.
