Wilma Fay Barker Frye

Enville, TN: Wilma Fay Barker Frye, age 92, passed away Friday morning, January 24, 2024, at Hardin Medical Center.
Mrs. Frye was born and reared in the Cabo Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Albert Ernest and Angie Mae Mount Barker. She attended schools in Chester County. She worked on the family farm and Salant and Salant in Henderson for twenty years and later at Harwood Manufacturing in Adamsville. She married Ross Frye, of Madison County in 1978. Mr. Frye was employed by Grinnell Corporation and preceded in death in 1995. Mrs. Frye was a member of the Chester County Family Community Education Club, (the FCE).
She is survived by a brother, Royce Barker of Savannah and a niece, Lisa Barker Thomas, and husband Brent of Adamsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers Cecil Barker, Travis Barker, and Bill Barker and two nieces, Vicki Broadwell, and Susan Barker.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday, January 30th at Cabo Cemetery.
