Mrs. Stella W. Wallace, 92-year-old widow of A. Blake Wallace and a former resident of 604 McBride St., Clearfield, died yesterday in the Whitehall Nursing and Convalescent Center at Lancaster. She had been ill for several months.
She was born at Clearfield Nov. 26, 1887, a daughter of Harvey and Sophie (Powell) Wilson. She resided at Clearfield most of her life and was a member of West Side United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Allen E. (Kathleen) Pearce, Lancaster; and Mrs. Clarence (Leah) Dinger, Milton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband who died in 1938, Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Butler I. Meade; three brothers: Francis, Dorsey and Clyde Wilson; three daughters and one son.
Funeral services will be from the Nicholson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Charles L. Stump officiating. Burial will be made in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Friends may call in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
