Sandra graduated from Brandon High School and later received her certificate in Dental Assistive Technology from Hinds Community College. She worked for a number of years as a dental assistant before becoming a bookkeeper.
She is preceded in death by her parents Betty Cotner Belk and Fred J. Belk, maternal grandparents Opal Pendergrass Cotner and Michael A. Cotner, paternal grandparents Dora Light Belk and William Henry Belk, sister Kristie Belk Everett, nephew Korey Everett, and brothers-in-law David Everett and Eddie Ellis.
She is survived by her sisters, Deborah Belk Ellis of Natchez, Mississippi, and Kathy Belk of Brandon, Mississippi. She is also survived by her nieces Jennifer Beasley (Ken), Jessica Johnson, Jana Ford (John), Hayley Errington (Cory), Kelsey Everett (Ridge), and nephew Kyle Everett, as well as former spouse Kenneth Steverson of Brandon, Mississippi.
