Susan Adamson Sundwall

NOVEMBER 22, 1950 – MARCH 28, 2023

Our amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Susan died peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, surrounded by her husband and three living children. She lost an unexpected and brief battle with a rapidly spreading bloodborne bacteria.

Born November 22, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Susan lit up every room she walked into. She was a devoted wife, amazing mother and a beloved grandmother. Her loss is heartbreaking to all those who knew her but the knowledge that she is reunited with her sweet daughter, Sherstin, and her parents brings solace and joy to our hearts. While we will all miss her selflessness and giving nature, we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her.

Susan's first joy was her grandchildren. She loved being involved with their lives and they all felt the love of the Savior in her presence. She also loved serving in the temple, meeting new people and staying at the family cabin in Sunriver, Oregon.

Susan's testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ was her most prized possession. She knew it. And all who knew her knew she knew it.

Susan is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dr. Dale Sundwall, children: Sean (Carrie), Sommer (Benjamin) and Shelby (Garrett), Siblings: Amy (Bruce) and Andrew (Wendy), 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and extended family.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Norma Adamson, her brothers John and David Adamson and her daughter Sherstin.
