She was born July 30, 1943 in Ellington, NY the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Raner Sischo.
Ruth worked at Wilson Farms for 15 years. She played a big part in the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation with her bake sales of mini banana bread. Ruth enjoyed being a member of TOPS #142 for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, and going to the Jamestown Expos and Jammers baseball games.
Surviving are four daughters, a son, 21 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John R. Bauer whom she married May 18, 1963 and who died April 8, 2003; a grandson; three brothers: Ken, Albert, and Les Sischo; and a sister, Bett Johnson.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday November 2, 2016 in the Lind Funeral Home. Jessy McKeirnan will officiate.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
