Obituary - Peapack - Gladstone - Frederick Scott Condit, 84, borough clerk here in the 1940's, died yesterday (July 6, 1966) at Memorial Hospital, Morristown, after a long illness. Mr. Condit was a clerk here for about eight years. Born in Burlington, Iowa, he lived in Peapack - Gladstone for 31 years. He was formerly a contractor in New York. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hedwig Condit, and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schrader of LaCanada, Calif. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bailey Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Chatham. There will be no calling hours. The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
