Mrs. Browning Dies In Her 82nd Year
Former resident of Salt Point for many years, Mrs. Charles Browning, 81, who had made her home in this city the last 10 years, died unexpectedly yesterday at her home, 37 South Randolph avenue. She was ill only since last Thursday.
The former Miss Mary Barmore, Mrs. Browning was born in the Town of Union Vale, Feb. 12, 1868. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Lucy Wanzer Barmore. She was educated in schools in the county. She had attended the Friends' Meeting, here and for some time was an active member of the WCTU.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs., Emma B. Huestis, Moores Mills, and several cousins. Her husband died 21 years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Allen Funeral home, Millbrook, at 2:30 o'clock, tomorrow. Burial will be in the Mechanic cemetery, Millbrook.
