Geneva Voiles, 90, passed away on January 22, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Cloverport, Kentucky on February 13, 1933, daughter of Jesse and Marie (Lively) DeWitt.

Geneva was united in marriage on December 21, 1950 to Paul D. Voiles. They enjoyed 73 years together. Geneva was a seamstress that could make anything from bridal gowns to race car jumpsuits. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and making meals to offer others. She was a member of Tell City First Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving is her husband, Paul Voiles, Tell City; daughter, JoAnn Blackstock (Charles), Louisville, KY; daughter-in-law, Kathy Voiles, Evanston; grandchildren, Gennifer Blackstock, Michelle Bock (Scott), Kim Voiles, Brigitte Lasher (Brent), Travis Voiles (Lisa), Kassie Guffey, Paul Voiles and Kenny Voiles and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sons, Michael Voiles and Eric Voiles; great granddaughter, Haylee Voiles; brothers, Thomas Allen, Jim Allen and Preston DeWitt and sisters, Margaret Williams, Wilma Brown and Dorothy Grass.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Tell City First Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Keith Messick will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 -11:00 AM at the church.
