Brent "BB" Berkfield, 71, of Zanesville passed at 10:25 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at home.
He was born on Monday, February 5, 1951 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Donald L. Berkfield and Margaret Scholl Berkfield Tanner.
Brent was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He graduated in 1969 from Zanesville High School. Brent was a longtime member and former Exalted Ruler of Elks lodge 114. He retired in 2022 from Neff Paving.
He is survived by, five children, Justin (Jennifer) Berkfield, Cory (Amy) Berkfield, Jered (Angela) Berkfield, Tye (Megan) Berkfield, and Kaleigh (Tyler) Musselman; the mothers of his children Sherry Vaughn and Lynn Bradley; eleven grandchildren, Ryin, Colton, Cannon, Adyson, Alaina, Abby, Jayce, Leo, Kennedy, Boone "BB", and Finley; four great grandchildren; five siblings, Clint (Krysta) Berkfield, Eric Berkfield, Mark Berkfield, Chris (Amy) Tanner and Kim Tanner; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Brent was preceded in death by, his stepfather, George Tanner and stepmother, Colleen Berkfield.
Per Brent's wishes, a cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
