James Aloysius Bradish, 90, passed away January 17, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. A Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 PM followed by a visitation from 4:30-6:30 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Friday January 26, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. The family suggest memorials to Catholic Community Hospice, 9740 W. 87 St., Overland Park, KS.

Mr. Bradish was born July 13, 1933, in Kansas City, KS to Thomas and Mary (Hastings) Bradish. He was retired from the KCK Fire Department where he served as Chief, as well as a former president of the KCKD union. He was a humble, honest man who is survived by son Michael, granddaughters Leslie Bradish (William) Gibson and Mary Bradish (TJ) Vielhauer, and great-grandchildren Anthony, Caitlyn and Hayes and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings John, Tom, Mary Margaret, Eileen and Mickey.
