Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Eileen Ruth Schroyer, 27, of Friendsville, Md. who was fatally injured Sunday, Dec. 31 in a two-car accident on Route 119 at Pennsville, near the Everson Exit.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Newman Funeral Home of Friendsville. Services were held at the Blooming Rose United Methodist Church of Friendsville with Rev. Eugene Thayer officiating, and burial was in the church cemetery.
Her husband, Robert Schroyer, who was injured in the accident, is a patient in Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh. He is reported to be slowly improving.
Mrs. Schroyer was born in Uniontown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Bradley of 61 Snyder Terrace. She was a member, of the Blooming Rose Church.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Joyce Appleby, of Farmington; and Mrs. Hilda Grimes of Grindstone.
