Christine Elizabeth Wilfing September 15th, 1979 - January 4th, 2024 passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love on January 4, 2024 at the age of 44. Dear sister of Jeremy Wilfing, loving aunt to Ashton, and devoted step-mother to Serenity and Josephine Revoy. Predeceased by Oma and Opa, parents Helen (2023) and Joachim (2013) Wilfing. Christine, an exuberant person filled with enthusiasm for life, loved helping others, being in nature and above all, her animals. When she wasn't helping others, she could be found out in nature biking, hiking and rollerblading on one of the many trails around her home, travelling to Cambridge, Stratford, Owen Sound, and her favourite place, Peterborough. This where she felt most at home, having lived here for many years during her days of post-secondary education. After leaving Peterborough to help her Oma care for her Opa, she would often return for a visit to enjoy many of her most treasured places. She introduced her partner to her favourite spots and they would often return there to bike, explore, stop for copious picture opportunities, and to enjoy feeling the "sun from both sides". Her kind nature led her to work with those living with mental health, helping them find a peaceful place to live away from addiction and other of life's difficulties. She has helped many people along her journey in life and will be missed by those lives she touched, her friends, family, and especially Princess Munchkin, her Japanese Chin she rescued. Christine has always had a close connection to all of her dogs (Princess, Teddy, Bear, Tia, Prince) and all animals in general. Even the days leading up to her passing, she could be found feeding the squirrels and Blue Jays that came by for a visit. Christine's love, caring, and beautiful soul will never be forgotten.
