Mrs. Surrilda Catherine (Garrett) Holloway Osborn, 75 years old, passed away at her home near Strafford late Saturday afternoon, September 18, 1943, after a lingering illness.
Survivors included four daughters, Mrs. Susan Watts of Olathe, Kas., Mrs. Annie May Hunt of Strafford, Mrs. Ethel Morgan of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Millie Clair of Kansas City, Kas.; three sons, Evan and Hugh Holloway and Howard Osborn, all of Strafford; a sister, Mrs. Lina Piccot, of Springfield; 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Mount Pisgah Church with the Rev. R. M. Holloway officiating. Interment was at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery under the direction of Rainey Funeral Home.
