Rae "Rachel" Cynthia Longhurst passed away August 6, 2018 at Midland Care Hospice in Topeka, KS, of complications following surgery. There will be a service and remembrance for her at a later date.
Rachel was born April 25, 1950 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the daughter of John E. and Joan (Usher) Longhurst. She is survived by her brother David Longhurst, Lawrence, Kansas; her sister Paula Longhurst, Hurley, New Mexico; nieces and nephews; and long-time friends in Lawrence and Eskridge, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Eskridge Care and Rehabilitation Center in Eskridge, Kansas, or to Midland Care in Topeka, Kansas, and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Lawrence, Kansas.
