Bill, a native Hatboro, PA., was married only a short time before being deployed to Vietnam. He graduated from Upper Moreland High School in 1961 and Pennsylvania Military College in 1966. Upon graduation he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, Ordanance Corps, United States Army. Bill was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and then Captain. He was in Vietnam only six weeks when he was killed trying to save his own men from a motar attack. He was awarded the Bronze Star with a "V" for valor. Survivors: wife, mother, father.
