Born on June 30, 1946, in York, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Frances (Miller) Dellinger. Carolyn was an LPN and retired from York Health Hospice.
She loved and lived for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Larry R. Copenheaver of York; a son, Duane R. Copenheaver and wife, Amie of Blacklick, OH; a daughter, Wendy J. King and husband, Brian of York; grandchildren, Emily and Drew Copenheaver, Ian Camp, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Brian II King; a brother, Bradley Dellinger, and wife, Lynn of Milford, DE; a sister, Gerry Sharp, and husband, George of York; a nephew, Jeff Pettit; and a host of family in York and Virginia.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 24, 2024, at noon at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. 822 E. Market St, York. Pastor Joshua Kleinfeld will be officiating. A viewing will be held before the service from 11 a.m. - 12 noon. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
