Ursula Philippine (Eich) Giannone Gossman

1945-2024

Ursula Philippine (Eich) Giannone Gossman died at home peacefully on January 18, 2024 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Bad Kreuznach Germany on August 2, 1945 a daughter of the late Jakob Eich and Veronica Eich.

Having lived much of her life in the area Ursula was owner and operator of Salineville Lanes and Rukarts Tavern for many years. She had also worked at PCC Airfoils.

Ursula is survived by two sons: Stefan Giannone (Debbie) of Summitville, Rodney Giannone of Salineville; a sister: Anita Karst of Bad Kreuznach Germany; a niece: Christianna Karst of Bad Kreuznach; five grandchildren: Tony Giannone, Jimmy Giannone, Angela Sells, Alicia Perry, Kelsy and 13 great-grandchildren: Brody, Sutton, Rocklan, Everly, Wyatt, Jordyn, Charlie, Carson, Carter, Aiden, Elliana, Ainsley and Avery.

In addition to her parents Ursula was preceded in death by two husbands: Ronald Giannone who died January 4, 1997 and Vern Gossman who died October 22, 2013 and a brother: Siegfried Eich.

No services or calling hours have been planned as per Ursula's wishes.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Community Hospice for the compassionate care they provided.

The Kerr Watson Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
