"Mrs. Pauline Elizabeth Lance, 61, of 7234 Highland, died Monday at the home. She was born in Shelton, Neb., and had lived here 25 years. She was manager of the Lance Electric Company, Inc. She leaves a son, Thomas Lance of Overland Park; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Smith of San Francisco, and Mrs. Hazel Williams of Osceola, Neb.; and two grandsons. Services will be at 2 o'clock Wednesday at the Newcomer Chapel, Brush Creek and the Paseo; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery." The Kansas City Star, May 12, 1971
