Norman Evans Guthrie, eighty-five years of age, passed away on April 20, 1997 in an El Paso hospital.
He had been a resident of El Paso for the past fourteen years. He was a retired pipefitter and attended Saint Mark's United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Donald W Guthrie (Edna) and Jerry A Guthrie (Anita); daughters, Marjory Cherry and Jena Amaral; his sister, Thelma Rosamond; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Joseph Guthrie and Altie Payne; and his wife, Evelyn Letha Galhier Guthrie.
