Kevin R. Jett, 67, of Beverly, Ohio, died on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at his home. He was born on February 9, 1956 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Chester and Mildred Barnhart Jett. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1974 and went on to become a union painter for over 40 years.

He was a member of the Smith Chapel Church, the Sharon Masonic Lodge #136 F&AM and the Painters Union. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and spending time with his family and many friends.

He was married on August 4, 1990 to Diane Stout Jett who survives. Also surviving are three children, Trenton Davis of Kentucky, Angela Jett (Ryan) of Marietta and Matthew Jett of Marietta; seven grandchildren, Madison Bright (Brock), Kortney Daniel (Hunter), Kenzie Fenton, Morgan Hall, Ki Hall, Gabriel Jett and Jaycee Jett; a great grandson, Dawson Ray Daniel; two brothers, Steve Jett of Parkersburg and James Jett (Lisa) of Marietta; special daughter in law, Amanda Richard (Travis); sister's in law, Paulette Naylor (Gary) and Juanita Shafer (Mike); a brother in law, Jay Stout (Becky), several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends; and his best friend, Denver Abicht.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepson, Paul Ray Bright; and a brother Tim Jett.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 6:00 pm at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor David Miller officiating. A masonic service will follow the funeral service for those who wish to attend.
