Gene Regenbrecht, 80, of Bellville, Texas, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Gene was born January 14, 1942 in Bellville, Texas, the son of Leander and Alice (Nelius) Regenbrecht. He grew up in Bellville and attended Bellville High School. Gene proudly served in the U.S. Navy. On March 28, 1965, Gene was united in marriage to Beverly Ross in Sealy, Texas. During his working years, he was a railroad yardmaster and trouble shooter. In his spare time, Gene enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hunting.

Gene is survived by his wife, Beverly Regenbrecht; daugher, Kim Fick and husband, Bobby, of Racoon Bend; grandchildren, Devan Janosky and D.J. Janosky, both of Bellville; great-grandchildren, Kailyn Schubert, Kinlee Janosky, and Denton Janosky, all of Bellville; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leander and Alice Regenbrecht; and daughters, Mellissa and Roxann Regenbrecht.
