Bobby G. Newsom, 85, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 8, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1938 in Mena, Arkansas to Claud and Sallie Newsom.


He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara J. Newsom; sons, Kenny Newsom (Beverly) and Robert Newsom (Kim); daughter, Becky Nichols (Rusty); grandchildren, Zachery Newsom, Delanie Newsom, Ryan Newsom (Keeley), Shelby Thornton (Quinton) and Brianna Nichols and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Newsom, Hudson Newsom and Stetson Thornton.


Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Sallie Newsom and sister, Dorothy Markham (Tommy) and infant sister Helen Newsom.


Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.


Graveside services will be held the following day on Tuesday, January 16th at 12:00 PM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
