McInvale, Sr., Willie - died peacefully on January 31, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Ken was born on February 17, 1923. He was devoted to his faith, family, church and community. Ken joined College Park Baptist Church in 1950, where his parents, Henry Jordan and Irene McInvale were already faithful members. Ken served as a youth Sunday School teacher, Treasurer, Deacon and Chair of Deacons for many years at the church that he deeply loved and where he and his wife, Jane, raised their family. Ken was a charter member of the College Park Rotary Club and was decorated as a Paul Harris Fellow, a highly prestigious award given to those members who have exemplified the leadership and servanthood for which the Rotary Club stands. Ken also served in the Army during WWII and completed his college education following the war at Florida Southern College. His family and friends will always remember him for his tender heart, gentle spirit and commitment to Christ. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother, H.J. McInvale, Jr. Ken is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane Norman McInvale; his son, Bill (Cynthia) McInvale; daughters Joy McInvale and Betty Jane (Richard) King; grandchildren: Ann Elizabeth, Trey (Kelly), and Austin McInvale; Travis (Brooke) Bourgeois; Austin and Shannon Carroll; Katie (David) Okey; and nephew, Skip (Jacque) McInvale. After a private burial, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, February 5, 2016 at College Park Baptist Church also known as Church On The Drive, 1914 Edgewater Drive, Orlando, Fl 32804, (407)843-0140 with Dr. Robert Shettler officiating.
