He was known for loving his family, especially his grandchildren. He served our country in the United States Army and took an interest in military history and wood working. Mr. Sigmon was a volunteer fireman for Gooches Fire Department for many years.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Sigmon, Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Lancaster Funeral Home. Burial at Lancaster Memorial Park.
Mr. Sigmon is survived by his two daughters: Jessica Parker (Roger Nowlan) of Loris, and Elizabeth Sigmon (TJ Parmele) of Herndon, VA; step-son: Robert Gibson (Kelly), four brothers: Micheal Sigmon (Margaret) of Kershaw, Jerry Sigmon (Michelle) of Lancaster, Darrell Sigmon of Lancaster and David Sigmon of Lancaster, a sister: Jan Bullock of Lancaster, and four grandchildren.
Along with his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carol Peebles.
