Leslie Raymond Peek, 65 of Utica, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on June 24, 1958 in Daviess County to the late Donald Ray & Barbara Jean Hite Bartlett.
Leslie was retired from the United States Army serving from 1976-2007.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father; Jack Bartlett, Sr.; two brothers, Donald Ray Peek II, Michael Wayne Bartlett; maternal grandparents, Leslie Hite, Sr. & Marie Harris Hite; paternal grandparents, Raymond Peek & Clara Shelton Peek; special uncle, Leslie Hite, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Joyce Peek; son, Brian Adam Peek (Brittany); daughter, Jessica Lynn Peek; and a grandson on the way; siblings, Sherry Jenkins (Ray), Gina Millay, Cynthia Flester (Reggie), Jack Bartlett, Jr. (Nicole); aunts, Darlene Hite (Gaddis) and Brenda Wells (John); and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at noon on Thursday, January 11, 2024.. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
