He was born July 6, 1931 in West Frankfort to William O. and Ethel (Wilderman) Sullivan.
Bill grew up in West Frankfort, IL and later moved to St. Louis. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as an insurance adjuster. He loved sports and shared his passion with his family and friends.
Survivors include his son, Jeff (Deb) Sullivan; Step daughter, Vicki (Steve) Rowland; Daughter-in-law Carrie Sullivan; four grandchildren, Leslie (Michael) O'Rourke, Rick Sullivan, Kimberly (Rick) Rowland, Trent (Hayley) Hudgens. Four great grandchildren, Scout, Briar, Harlow & Micah as well as his beloved friend Marlys Venegoni.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Louise, his second wife Clara Mae (Tadlock) Sullivan, daughter Pamela, son Kevin and his brother John.
His services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with Rev. Sherry Black officiating. Burial will be in the Denning Cemetery on the Orient Road. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church in West Frankfort and will be accepted at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home.
