Aaron Keith Aguillard, 61, of Cove, Texas, passed away on January 1, 2024. He was born in Oakdale, Louisiana, on May 25, 1962, to Philip and Nel Aguillard.
Aaron worked for Kirby Inland Marine for 17 years, served as a Marine Inspector for ten years, and recently worked for Geodis - Transport & Logistics.
Throughout his life, Aaron loved following the Houston Oilers (Texans), Astros, & Rockets. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, Martin Bird watching, and tending to his fish aquariums. In the last many years, he also enjoyed planting flowers and gardening.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Philip Aguillard.
He is survived by his Wife of thirty-three years, Lauri Aguillard; daughters, Alyssa and Sara Aguillard, mother Nel Paul; sister, Angela (Winnie) Belgard, sister, Maria (David) Paulus; niece, Avanna (John) O'Brien, nephew, Kyle (Katelyn & son William) Paulus, niece, Rachel (Matt & daughters, Callie & Carson) Hannah; father in law, Robert Ledvina, mother in law, Adrienne Ledvina, brother in law, Thomas (Rachel) Ledvina, niece, Kristin Smith, nephews, Erik & Kevin Ledvina, brother in law, Michael (Jeanne) Ledvina, nieces, Emily Ledvina, Tess Arumugam, & Hannah Ledvina, nephew, Ben Ledvina, brother in law, Jeffrey (Jannine) Ledvina, niece, Jessica Ledvina, and niece, Jacquelyne Alloway.
Aaron grew up in Channelview, Texas, and was a graduate of Channelview High School. He excelled and loved playing football, basketball, baseball, and track & field. He went on to study at Taft Jr. College in California, where he played football for two years. Aaron then transferred to Stephen F. Austin State University, where he finished out his college football career.
Aaron was a devoted husband to his wife, Lauri, and a wonderful father to his daughters Alyssa & Sara. He was a kind, loving son and brother. Aaron was known by family and friends as a loyal, humble, kind, and cheerful person. Everyone who knew Aaron loved him. He is, and will continue to be, dearly missed!
