Barbara J. Pagano, 79, of Liverpool, NY passed away at home on Wednesday after a brief illness, surrounded by family. She was born in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Palladino) Zajac. Barbara grew up in Solvay, NY, graduating from Solvay High School, Class of 1962.
Barbara will be remembered as a strong-willed, loving mother of four, whose focus was always her family. She was an avid bowler, followed the NY Mets and enjoyed playing cards with her neighbors. She is predeceased by her husband, John Pagano and her brother, Robert Zajac.
Surviving are her children; Jason Pagano, Kristen (James) Raymond, Amy Pagano, Mark Pagano, two grandchildren; Nathan and Christopher Raymond, her brother, Joseph (Eugenia) Zajac III, sister-in-law, Nancy Cannon, two nieces and six nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with Funeral Services to follow at 6:00pm. The Rite of Committal and burial will be private in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
