Arvina Rose (Davis) Boshers, age 77, of Allen, Michigan and formerly of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, January 3, 2024. She was born in Grand Haven, Michigan on September 1, 1946, the daughter of Arvin Matthew and Marianne (Michael) Davis. Arvina graduated from Coldwater High School and retired from Nyloncraft of Michigan after several years.

Arvina married Gerald Lee Boshers Sr. on August 18, 1963; he sadly preceded her in death on March 12, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gerald Lee Boshers Jr. on June 20, 2000; her parents; and her brother, Michael E. Davis. Arvina is survived by her son, Gregory Lee Boshers; six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jeffrey, Scott, and Matthew Davis; and her sister, Alicia Davis-Beck.

Arvina rescued and cared for dozens of cats over the years. She enjoyed knitting, reading, coloring, and in retirement loved working at the Primitive Connection at the Allen Antique Mall.

A memorial visitation will be held 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care Battle Creek. The inurnment will be at Hicks East Pennfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Lupus Foundation or the Hillsdale Humane Society.
