McABOY, Marvin Louis – of Davison, MI, age 78, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Marvin was born in Pontiac, MI on June 14, 1943, son of the late Delmore and Mary (Warner) McAboy. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1985. During his service in the U.S. Navy, Marvin served 5 tours in Vietnam, went around the world 12 times and retired as a Master Chief. Marvin married Debby Smith on March 20, 1976 in Pontiac, MI. He was a member of Genesee Road Church of God. Church was very important to Marv. He loved his church, Pastors and church family. He was a devoted husband and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmore and Mary McAboy; daughter, Jodie McAboy; brother, David; 4 sisters, Mary Etta, Henrietta, Lillian and Billie Lou.
