Laymes Willis, 62, of Battiest, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Talihina Indian hospital.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bethel Hill United Methodist Church at Battiest with burial in Bethel Hill Cemetery. The Revs. William Baker and Sampson Parrish officiated and Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home of Idabel handled arrangements.
Willis was born April 20, 1914, in Battiest and had lived there all his life. He was a retired employee of the Oklahoma State Forestry Division in Broken Bow.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Willis of Battiest; two sons, Roy Willis of Wright City and Rayson Willis of Battiest; two daughters, Jency Mae Bohanan of Watson and Francile Williams of Battiest; one brother, Elesten Willis of Battiest; five grandchildren.
