Passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2022 at his Kitchener residence at the age of 73 years. Brian was born in Sidney, Nova Scotia on November 26, 1948. Brian was the loving father of Clayton and Chad Brophy. Dear brother of Lorraine Fennell (Mike), Mary Dardarian (Lin Parker), Bobbi Westphal (Jack), Janice Ballard, Terry Brophy and Jim Brophy. Brian will also be remembered by his sister-in-law Evelyn Brophy, his good friend Mary Lou Kieswetter and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Allan and Mary Brophy (nee) O'Neill, his brothers Mike and Douglas Brophy and his sister Marilyn Janes. Brian was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Waterloo Branch #530. Brian was loved by his family and will be missed by many friends. His struggles are over and now he finds peace. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Kitchener at a later date.
