He was born on Jun. 27, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI. Joseph proudly served in the United States Air Force in Atlanta, then returned to Milwaukee and resided for over 30 years in West Allis, WI working for Allis Chalmers-Siemens where he processed repair orders for a very large industrial electric motors and generators. He was active in many leadership roles at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in West Allis and won many local and state tennis tournaments. He relocated to Florida in 1982 and eventually settled in Bradenton. Joseph earned United States Tennis Association Professional Instructor Certification and taught lessons at the Nick Bollettieri-IMG Tennis Academy. He enjoyed playing in many local tennis leagues. He was a member of the adult choir at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bradenton, FL and was a proud 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is preceded in death by his father Joseph H. Drutowski and his mother Wanda (nee Pawlak) Drutowski; He is survived by his wife Lorraine (nee Lecouffe) Drutowski of Bradenton, FL; daughter Mary J. (nee Drutowski) Rinehart of Bradenton, FL; son Karl G. Drutowski (Carol) Inver Grove Heights, MN. and sister, Dolores (nee Drutowski) Mark of Lake Zurich, IL. Joseph was preceded in death by his first wife, Gable (nee Smith) Drutowski after 52 years of marriage and his son Rev. Robert J. Drutowski of Milwaukee, WI, He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Jessica (nee Drutowski) Buehner (Cody), Mackenzie Drutowski (Matt Beamer), Stan Drutowski (engaged to Ali Hagen), Sam Rinehart and Amy Rinehart; 4 great-grandchildren: Jordan Rinehart, and Eliza, Woodrow and Porter Buehner; 5 nieces and nephews; 4 step-children Jeanne M (nee Trudel) Winfield, Michael J. Trudel, Stephen J. Trudel and Robin G. Trudel, 9 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Thurs. Dec. 28, 2017 from 9 AM until the time of service at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1505 12th Ave West, Bradenton, FL. Interment will take place in Milwaukee, WI.
