Katie (Ropp) Kuepfer passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 26, 2023 at the Listowel Memorial Hospital. She was born 85 years ago in Wellesley Township and resided in Milverton. Katie is now reunited with her beloved husband Jack Kuepfer whom she married November 14, 1959. Dear mother of David & wife Carol of Durham, Brenda Kuepfer of Vancouver, Carol & husband Ron Baker of North Easthope Township and Rob & wife Shelly of Minesing. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Drew & Ashley, Danielle, Lindsay & Dennis, Jason, Brad and Ben and great grandchild Carter. Survived by her brother Norman and wife Mary Ann of Komoka. Predeceased by her sisters Tillie Kennel, Laura Noll and Eva Arnold brother Dan, sister in law Shirley Ropp (Brenneman), brothers-in-law Alvin Kennel, Leo Noll and Jerome Arnold. Katie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a hardworking farm wife, helping dad establish and operate Jonell Farms on the 3rd line of Mornington Township in the mid 1960's, where they operated it as a dairy/beef and cash crop farm. Mom was a proud member of the Lily Dempsey Women's Institute and volunteered at the MCC Thrift Store for years. She loved curling, camping, travelling, quilting and snowmobiling. She was fully involved in the farm helping milk the cows, feed the cattle, and harvesting and seeding seasons. On top of that she maintained a very large garden, was a great cook and baker making sure there was more than enough home cooking for everyone. Katie was a long time member of Poole Mennonite Church.
