Lucille M. Gadbois of 3507 N. Molleck, Peoria, formerly of Galesburg, died Sunday, March 22, 1998, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born July 15, 1907, in Galesburg to Patrick J. and Anne E. Wynn Conlon, she married Thaddeus N. Gadbois on Jan. 31, 1942, in Galesburg. He died in October 1955. One infant son, Patrick, and one sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Kathileen) Haugens of Peoria and Mrs. Paul (Mary Ann) Kennedy of San Diego; and one sister, Ann Welch of Springfield.

She was an operator for Bell Telephone Co. in Galesburg for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Galesburg and its Ladies of Mary Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary in Galesburg.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Galesburg.
