A.J. was in sales with Georgia Pacific for 35 years. A member of Tekoa Baptist Church. A.J. was veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Navy and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife and love of his life, Tuti Bussell; parents, Samuel Roy Bussell and Dorothy McKinney Bussell; mother-in-law, Bonnie Rose Earley; son-in-law, L.H. Cates; sisters: Elizabeth Bussell Krouse (M.C.), Margaret Bussell Manning (Gus), Dotty Bussell Earley (Joe Howard)
A.J. is survived by his children: Jay and Libby Bussell, Jon Bussell, and Tracy Cates; grandchildren: Iantha, Aiden, and Harper; nephew, Sammy Joe Manning.
Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 28th in the New Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Oliver Springs for graveside services and interment. Military honors will be conferred by the Volunteer State Honor Guard.
