Alice was a factory seamstress for the garment industry in Newark, New Jersey for forty years until she retired. She later moved back to Bristol, Florida and joined St. Stephens African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served faithfully until her health declined.
On Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 5:38 AM God called Alice home as she passed away peacefully at her residence in Bristol, Florida.
Alice leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted son and caregiver and his wife of Bristol, Florida; 5 nieces; 4 nephews; along with a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her Husband: John Dobey; Parents: Emmanuel and Maggie Floyd; Son: Raymond Dobey; and Sister: Mildred Floyd Green.
